Overview
This was my first time teaching this course. Overall, I felt like it went very well until we came to the last chapter which is on differential equations. This last chapter seemed to be the most challenging for the students.
Course Materials
For this course I was the lecturer, so I was responsible for all materials including lectures, quizzes, and exams. Since this was my first tie teaching the course, I used the book to help me write my lecture notes and followed the same order of chapters as the book. This made that chapter 11 material more confusing for students as the order in the book does not flow as well as it possibly could. This made me realize for future classes that I should try to rework and reorder this material.

This course does not have a recitation component to it. To help offset this I tried to give as much time as possible in class for students to work on the examples. Also, I worked in a day before each exam to review the material and gave exam review for this.

After teaching this course I realized that students found some sections really easy and so I could have spent less time whereas other sections needed more time. So, I made a note to change this when I got to teach it again.
