Overview
Overall, this course was a really interesting course to teach. The students don't have as much of a mathematical background as in another course, but they are mostly very focused on learning the material. This semester was my first time teaching this course, but it wasn't too challenging since I had taught a calculus course before.
Course Materials
In this course I was the instructor of record, so I was responsible for everything except the final exam. I wrote my lectures so that they followed the book on how to present a topic but I added more example problems so students could see more worked out solutions.

This course did not have a recitation class so there weas not much need for handouts. However, I did have time after teaching word problems to give students a worksheet to help them recognize the different types.

In this semester of the course the course supervisor mandated how we gave quizzes. We had to give short five-minute daily quizzes and two longer content quizzes. In my experience with this it seemed to give students less feedback on how they were doing before the exams. For this reason, I decided if I had the option, I would not choose to do quizzes this way.
